We met as friends by chance
and from the first moment we met
there was something special
about the other, words no
other person would get.
We then started a friendship
that grew stronger day-by-day
We became more to each other
more than words can say.
Even though we may be apart
from the other, we
still meet in the sun
for when you are soulmates
you come together as one.

Seeing you looking my way.
Wishing, hoping for that special day.
A day where we will become as one.
Where the wall we built will come undone.
Not understanding why you desire me so.
Only feeling that I want to know.
Why I want your touch more now than ever before.
Maybe someday we will come together and unlock
that door.
Door of passion and intrique.
Something I hope we will finally see.
A dream so real and alive.
A passion too fierce, too powerful to die.

She walks alone in the dark on the boardwalk not knowing what to do. Voices are around her.
She remembers the haunting faces of her past and the memories of the present.
She can no longer stand the many changes her mind goes through.
To her kids she was just another problem. To her family she is a burden. She died a long time ago and now she dies a little bit every day.
She walks to the beach. Her favorite place since she was a kid. Sand sifts through her fingers and warms her toes.
She looks out to the sea. The waves are now lapping at her feet. She knows what she must do.
She must unburden everyone.
And with that, she takes a midnight swim.

Every morning I wake up and smile
and realize how lucky I truly am
to have found such a wonderful man
that I am in love with.
You are always there for me
to hug me when life gets
me down and to cheer
me up when I need
it the most.
You are my heart and soul.
You are my best friend,
my confidante, my lover.
With each passing day
I find more reasons
to love you.
I couldn’t ask for more.

depression, poem, pain
Sometimes life brings you down. The pain is unbearable. It seems like you can't go on.
No matter where you go or how you feel, you have to make a decision do I stay or go.
Pain is difficult day in and day out. You are tired and weary. The suffering has to end.
You look at your face tired and drawn and you wonder why am I still here.
The pain wrecks your body, tears out your heart and destroys your soul.
The depression seeps through you and never lets go.
At the end you have to decide if you are going to let pain win or become stronger and survive.(This song is Raise You Up by Josh Groban - It always makes me feel better)
