Thank You, Mom

You gave me life. You gave me love.
You gave me wings.

How can I ever begin to tell you how important
you are to my life. You are my confidante, my teacher,
my friend. Everything I am is because of you.

You gave me a world adorned with sunbeams and castles
in the sand. You gave me time to dream and reason
to believe in myself. You were always there to cheer
me on and to wrap me in hugs when I needed it the
most. You taught me compassion and courage and how to
love.

You gave of yourself so freely and expected nothing in return.
For this and more, I will be forever grateful.

You gave me what I needed in life to learn and grow into the
person I am today. I want you to always know that no matter
where I go or what I do in life, I will never forget the lessons
you taught me and the wings you gave me to fly.

I want you to remember that I will always be there for you.
I will always take care of you

I will always love you.

as like the angels its true that our mother are our angels too

and thankfull that my mother is still here ...

Thank you Rea, for such praise. I enjoy writing so much. My mother stayed with me the entire time I was in the hospital and it was a relief to have her there. Even today when I was so sick, she brought me food all day long, whatever I needed. I really appreciate that.

all mothers are the same...p:
when i was young...my mother suffered a lot of pains..

my sister decided to write a poem to her
its in tagalog but until now my mother dont know about this

we love my mother so much...
our father too,but he is very strict we cant tell him

Nic have you seen the other two I just wrote. One for my daughter and the other one called Courage to Change. I added videos to both of them that really goes with the poems.

Beautiful poem, Christy! When my grandmother died, an old friend quoted her as saying that her aim for her children was to give them such a happy childhood it would keep them, No matter what happened to them, happy for the rest of their lives.

touching poem...
i love my mom...
coz she gave me this life, gave me these eyes to see the world, this soul to feel everything and this heart to love everyone...
i love my mom when she say : Children is parents' greatest achievement...
i love my mom coz she's always be here, be there for me, i always rely on her...when im sad or despair...
