Suntana 23. May 2009, 06:21

You are Welcome, Christy!
Ooooooo, Hey! Hot Dogs!

I'll have to check out the YouTube on Saturday, Christy.
I'm about to go to bed.

I'm going to have to tweak your Header a smidgen, Christy.
I just got a replacement Monitor, albeit USED.
Since my former Monitor's display was way too dark, now with this Brighter Monitor, I'm seeing things I didn't see before.

When I inserted that Tulips image utilizing my Old Monitor, it blended like a transparent image. Now with this replacement Monitor, that image doesn't come out looking transparent. Now that I'm seeing the Tulips image much brighter, I'll have to tweak it to have the Oval display uniformly. I'll try to do it tomorrow.

Suntana 23. May 2009, 15:54

Okay, THERE! It's DONE, Christy!
I finished tweaking your Header. I inserted the uncropped version of the Tulips image. Now the oval image is intact.
You're all set, Christy. :hat:

This morning I attempted to load the YouTube and view it. It didn't want to load. So, now I'm going to try it again. I'll let you know in just a bit if it worked.

SummerAngel 23. May 2009, 18:26

Hello Christy, you have a beautiful blog design.

Sunny, once again, GREAT JOB!!!

greathoneybear 24. May 2009, 17:00

Thanks again, Suntana and SummerAngel thanks for the compliment. I appreciate all the compliments from my friends.

P.S. I highly recommend Suntana if anyone needs a new design!

Of course, there are people like my favorite "cat" who can also do anything. But then, what cat can't.

I would also like to thank Dennis for helping me meet Suntana. Without his help, this would not have been possible. Thanks, Dennis. You are a true friend.

Suntana 24. May 2009, 18:32

Whoa! WHAT?! I have some competition from your cat ... and ALL cats in general? :insane: ZOITS! I wasn't aware of that, Christy. Thanks for the Warning Heads Up! That'll keep me on my toes. The thought of very silent, almost Ninja-like Cat footsteps gaining ground on me, is a frightening motivation.

Christy, I take it your intrepid, genius cat also Sleeps on your Keyboard Keyboard Surfs like a lot of other cats?

Yes, Thanks to Dennis for allowing us to meet!

Christy, so far, I tried to get the YouTube to load twice and success has eluded me. Then after that, the YouTube screen was NOT even displaying. I'll try again today. I'm determined to view it since you put it up for me.

Dacotah 24. May 2009, 20:52

Ahem, HELLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO iTwin p: :D

Suntana 24. May 2009, 23:19

I did it! I did it, Christy!
I finally got the YouTube to load an play.
Cool song. -

It was my pleasure creating your Blog Theme for you.

Suntana 24. May 2009, 23:21

Thanks, Annette!

glenno 3. June 2009, 23:01

Another great Suntana blog, awesome

Suntana 4. June 2009, 00:25

Thanks, Glenno!

glenno 4. June 2009, 00:58

Perhaps we should start a Suntana Blog group up, here on opera, exclusive to Suntana blog members only

Suntana 4. June 2009, 02:05

Does that involve me getting a lot of money, fancy cars, a private jet and a mansion? Just Kidding!

But, seriously ... :yikes: :o: Your suggestion is very flattering. But, I don't want to exclude anyone from chatting with me or the rest of us. As long as someone's got something interesting, fun, funny, witty, entertaining to talk about, I don't mind mingling with them and mixing it up. I'll help whoever thinks I can help them.

glenno 4. June 2009, 02:18

I know, I'm kidding ya :D

Suntana 4. June 2009, 02:51

Now an Entourage on the other hand, is a different story.
I want an Entourage!  :headbang: - p:

glenno 4. June 2009, 03:40

dangngochoangthanh 11. June 2009, 21:20

wickedlizard 11. July 2009, 14:11

greathoneybear 13. July 2009, 07:52

Hi Issy,

Love your avatar. I always admire the people that can make their avatars look so cool. And Suntana, yes I am feeling better, thanks for asking. I hope to be on Opera a lot more now.

Suntana 13. July 2009, 14:29

Alright! 3 Cheers for Christy feeling BETTER!

greathoneybear 14. July 2009, 09:48

Why thank you my dear. ('bows three times') LOL

Couldn't have done it without ya.

Suntana 14. July 2009, 21:49

Glad to help in whatever way I can.

So, have you jammed on your guitar lately?

greathoneybear 14. July 2009, 22:19

Not lately, but I will return to it soon. My sister is just finishing up her degree and I don't want to blow the house down.

Suntana 14. July 2009, 22:44

Ohhh, so you have an Amp with a HUGE Speaker like the one Marty McFly had in the beginning of the movie Back to the Future? One strum and BOOM!!! CRASH!!! :ko:

greathoneybear 15. July 2009, 00:55

Good size Amp, yea. My sister will be done with her thesis tonight so who knows maybe back to my guitar. Haven't taken lessons for awhile because I was sick, but I know enough to play some songs myself and I know the notes, etc. to learn some new songs. Do you play?

Suntana 15. July 2009, 01:44

How many and what size Speakers does your Roland Amp have?

I haven't played in a Band in a long time.
But, I do periodically engage in some little sessions on my Casio Keyboard. I don't want to go too long between sessions cuz I'll get rusty. There have been some times when I have gone too long between sessions and I'll plain ole forget a part to a song. I'll start playing a song and suddenly hit a spot where my fingers will suddenly get lost and I'll be, "OMG! I forgot it! :yikes: How did I used to play this?" I'll draw a big ole blank. Then I'll have to think back, mess around and experiment until I eventually get the part again.

greathoneybear 15. July 2009, 18:04

I will have to check the size. I also play the keyboard. I have a Clavinova (sp). I love playing that because you can play either the whole song or just learn the right or left hand and the keyboard will help you and the computer will even play it back for you, plus it is a player piano. Now how cool is that.

Suntana 17. July 2009, 16:16

With my Tejano music medleys, I like to engage in a One-Man 4-Piece Band. :D I will be playing the Bass with my Left Hand ... the Rhythm with my Right Hand ... while the Keyboard is adding a Tejano Drum Beat. I am recording this in the Keyboard as I play the Medley Lead in my head. :eyes: After I finish recording the Bass, Rhythm and Drums to the Medley, I then play that back while adding the 2, 3 or 4-piece harmony Lead, whatever each part requires. :headbang:

Suntana 17. July 2009, 16:31

I've had to perform surgery twice on my Casio Keyboard in the last couple of months. One key stopped working. So, I opened it up. I immediately spotted the problem. This rubber thingey with the little carbon pad was torn from where it should be. Ahhh! But, HOW to fix that ... THAT was the question. That torn rubber thingey was part of this whole long strip of those. It wasn't exactly something you find at Walmart, Best Buy or even RadioShack.

I had to improvise and pull a McGyver. I had a calculator keypad lying around. I cut one of those pads off. I got a rubber bumper ... cut it and ground it. I superglued the calculator pad and rubber bumper into place. It WORKED! Ummm, for about a month.

So, I had to try a different fix. This time I was a bit more leery cuz my new plan involved actually cutting into the Key itself. If I erred in my engineering p: ... chances would be that I would have officially screwed up my Keyboard beyond repair. :yikes: But, it WORKED! And it's still working.

greathoneybear 19. July 2009, 12:35

You are the man and I love McGyver. Cool show. I couldn't wait to see what he was going to do. Sounds like you know what you are doing. Sometimes I do the same thing with computers. I just pray that it is going to work, if not, I ask my trusty friend.

Suntana 20. July 2009, 23:32

You know ... I never did actually watch the TV Show McGyver. I was just aware of of his improvisational wizardry via other people talking about it.

I tried to fix someone's TV Remote the same way ... utilizing another one of those calculator carbon pads. You would THINK that that project would be easier than the Keyboard Fix. But, actually, the results on the TV Remote were less successful. I think the carbon down inside on the Printed Circuit Board is already worn out. Plus, the calculator pad doesn't stick out of the TV Remote case far enough. I superglued the old Power Button on top of that, but it wouldn't stay there very long. So, I think that mess was finally tossed.

thehulk2 22. July 2009, 14:48

Hi Christy just thought I would pop over,As you can see I managed to escape, but I can't stay long as you know what my guards are like.I will just say awsome blog and give it my star rating with 1 being poor and5 star being very good.hmmm let me see nice colours, nice hostess, nice friends,Ah well it will be a low mark I am afraid:star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star:Now I don't know how that happened only one other bblog got more stars and that was Risis, but tthen she did incorarate the Hulk green into hers.Anyway must dash before them pesky guards wwake up.Bye.   :jester: :jester: :jester: :psmurf: :coffee:

Suntana 22. July 2009, 16:16

What do you mean, Hulk? Christy DOES have Hulk Green in her Header. Don't you see it? :D There is also Hulk Green in the Sidebar Headings.

SummerAngel 22. July 2009, 16:46

Sunny, Richard Dean Anderson was Jeff Webber on GH before he was McGyver. He was so dreamy on GH that I followed him to McGyver.

Suntana 22. July 2009, 17:00

Ahhh! Understandable logic and progression, Annette. When Vanessa Marcil was cast in that now canceled show Las Vegas, I so wanted to like the show, but it just didn't hook me. I thought the premise for the show was a great premise for a Movie, but NOT for a series.

SummerAngel 22. July 2009, 17:06

I don't remember seeing the Las Vegas show. What is she doing now?

Suntana 22. July 2009, 17:35

What is Vanessa Marcil doing now?
Ummm, having lunch with me.
No, seriously!
Just watch ... Vanessa, say Hi to Annette.

Vanessa Marcil: hi Annette!

See, Annette, I told you. p:

Okay Okay, fantasy aside, I haven't heard of any project or upcoming series that Vanessa might have.

SummerAngel 22. July 2009, 17:45

I'll let you know if she sails into Port Charles again.

greathoneybear 22. July 2009, 18:29

Hey Annette (hope you don't mind me calling you that), I love GH, and Vanessa Marcil was great on that show. And Suntana, you little devil, I see who you are in love with. flirt

Hey there Hulk - what do you mean I don't have the Hulk on here - looks to me like I do now.

and Hulk you can thank Suntana for the nice colors - as usual he does a wonderful job!

P.S. Hulk - I had to carry that blasted container by myself a mile and a half - but at least I escaped. :ninja:

thehulk2 22. July 2009, 18:48

Sorry Sutana I must have been wearing my shades when I walked in so I will have to put matters right now I gave Christy seven stars to start and noe I see that Christy has Hulk green but agaisnt that is the fact that Lara has known the hulk longer, but there again Christy did escape just tovisit the hulk in hi hour of need Aw what tthe heck:star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star:

Suntana 22. July 2009, 19:01

Sure thing, Annette. Feel free to give me the Vanessa Heads Up. My sister will no doubt let me know as well.

Hey, what a surprise! Another GH-er. High Five, Christy! :headbang: Actually I don't watch it anymore, Christy. I pulled the plug about 5 years ago. Even then, when I watched it, it was only for ohhh, 4 years or so.

Now I only take some rare peeks at it here and there.
Christy, Annette, do either of you two ... does ANYONE actually buy that Maxie & Spinelli pairing / LOVE? What a farce.

thehulk2 22. July 2009, 19:12

Hey Christy sorry missed your message as you know I had tomake a quick get away stillI git back before the guards woke up it was strong stuff the sleeping draught you sent over it worked a treat in facy they are still sleeping now well I hope they are only sleeping.Still this container I was under the impression that your friend was bringing it in his car.I said I was under the impression but on second thoughts i may have been under the table. The Johnny Walkers was flowing last night and I have only just recoverd.Wait a minute you never said is that sleeping draught safe with rotgut.Whoops.   :yikes: :yuck: :faint:  :psmurf: :coffee:

greathoneybear 23. July 2009, 01:24

Well he was suppose to, but he got sick so I dragged the darn thing downhill, not only got my exercise but also some weightlifting as well.

And Suntana - I think Spinelli is cute - Of course my absolute favorite is Sonny. Absolutely adorable - those eyes - I could look into them forever.

Okay come down to earth, Christy.

Suntana 23. July 2009, 02:03

Spinelli is Cute, huh? :eyes:
The Jackal is Cute, Eh?
I guess Geeks need loving too.
Who knows? Maybe Maxie does fit Spinelli. She used to be a Hot Cutie. But, now that she seems to have gone on the Kelly Ripa Popsicle Stick BOD regimen and is sporting that dorky hairstyle, she's gone down a couple of notches.
