Christy 23. July 2009, 03:32

Well haven't seen it lately so I am not so sure about her hairstyle. I will have to take a peek and let ya know.

Love the analogy - Kelly Ripa Popsicle Stick BOD regimen.

Suntana 23. July 2009, 03:54

Yeah, Kelly Ripa USED to be deliciously HOT. Then she got obsessed with the exercise and is now 100% void of Curves. :frown: Now she doesn't look good in ANYTHING she wears. She's still Cute and I love her perky personality, but HOT she is NOT.

John Douglas Ball 23. July 2009, 08:02

You will have to watch it my sweet all this weightlifting and you will end up with muscles like a man and we wouldn't want that now would we.Still it might be a help in dealing with them gaurds over there.   :jester: :psmurf: :coffee:

Christy 23. July 2009, 12:27

Oh don't ya worry Hulk, have you seen me in a bathing suit - well once again it is bathing suit season - so must get in shape. So I walk or run every day - work out at the gym and lift weights. I can press at least 180 to 200 lbs with my legs. Not bad, heh. Did I tell ya I do kickboxing. Helps with the guards. :jester:

John Douglas Ball 23. July 2009, 12:39

I am surly glad I am not one of those guards I am quite fond of my head and would like to keep it where it is thanks. Not rolling around the ground getting kicked around by those kids playing
soccer. As for lifting 180 to200lbs that is nithing I lifted a 3lb bag of sugar yesturday.Mind I did sprain my wrist with the weight but I lifted it anyway and to hell with the risk.   :jester: :jester: :psmurf: :coffee:

SummerAngel 23. July 2009, 14:36

Opposites attract. I think Spinelli and Maxie make a cute couple. But, as everyone who knows me knows, the ONLY reason I watch GH is for my daily fix of Sonny...and the occasional appearance of Noah Drake aka Rick Springfield.

BTW, Christy, did you hear Patrick Drake sing the other day? He has a wonderful voice. The only thing that would have made it better is if Robin had stayed on the bar stool with her mouth shut until he had finished his song.

Christy 24. July 2009, 00:20

I will have to catch up on that one this weekend. And I agree Sonny is definitely a daily fix. I have liked him from the start. My bad boy.

And Jason isn't too bad either, the men of Port Charles are hot.

Poor Hulky baby - sprained your wrist I see carrying sugar - next time call me.

John Douglas Ball 24. July 2009, 14:14

SummerAngel 24. July 2009, 21:28

I watched AGT. I liked the 8 year old little girl from Hawaii. Her name is Ciana Pelekai.

I also liked the chicken catcher from Kentucky who was on a few weeks ago. His name is Kevin Skinner.

John Douglas Ball 24. July 2009, 22:22

Yes they were good ,but please correct me if I am wrong but wasn't the ins salesmans name neil.I thought he was tremendous. He had such range.Any way my lady I have ssaid it to you before and I will say it again time has cought up with the Hulk and he has a busy day tommorow. So I will say goodnight all see you tommorow.      :coffee:

SummerAngel 24. July 2009, 22:35

Hulk, I think you watched the 2008 season of AGT. I remember him. Here is a link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8oR91K7gZ8

Christy 26. July 2009, 20:32

I will have to catch that show. When is it on? I have been enjoying watching the dancing show. I love all forms of dance. (You should see my belly dancing costumes) :sst: Close your eyes - Hulk and Suntana. :D

Suntana 26. July 2009, 20:51

You're talking about - So You Think You Can Dance, Christy? I've never seen it except for a few sporadic snippets. I just know that a Newbie Pro, Chelsea on Dancing With the Stars, is a former Champion or Runnerup or something on So You Think You Can Dance.

Hey, C'mon, Christy! That's not fair. p: Hulk and I want to admire and be entertained by the artistry of your Belly Dancing Costumes too.

John Douglas Ball 26. July 2009, 21:07

You must be joking close my eyes indeed and miss all th eye candy on show I should cokoa:lol:   Seriously though Kristy I love all kinds of dance as well.Just as long as I am not asked to partake im fine.      :coffee:Well I did try to be serius.Honest.See i can't even spell it let alone be it.:psmurf: :coffee:

SUNNY!!! HULK!!! I thought the two of you were gentlemen. What part of 'close your eyes' did you not understand!!! p:

John Douglas Ball 27. July 2009, 05:34

Annette I did close my eyes honest, but I couldnt see so I had to open them again and I think I saw a bit more than I should.Doesn't Christy look good in a bikini whew.?    :psmurf:   :coffee:

Suntana 27. July 2009, 14:28

Okay, I could close my eyes, but then I wouldn't be able to give a raving review.

Christy 27. July 2009, 16:10

Awww thanks for the compliment hulk about how I look in a bathing suit. I will have to post pictures of my costumes so you can see them.

and no I won't be in them. I will just talk about the art of belly dancing.

and thanks Annette for that link. I watch both shows Dancing with the Stars and now I am watching so you think you can Dance. I was very sad to see Janette go. I thought she was going to be the winner. She is excellent. I have a feeling the judges are going to do something for her career.

I would love to dance Bollywood. How cool is that. I ordered my outfits straight from Egypt. So they are pretty cool. It is a great thing to do and helps you keep your figure.

:sst: you do have to move your hips a lot!

Khopesh 28. July 2009, 15:21

Hehe nice slide show some rather comicle pics there

SummerAngel 28. July 2009, 16:09

yw Christy. I hope you get to dance Bollywood someday

Christy 31. July 2009, 14:32

Sorry I haven't been around guys. I was in the hospital. I had a mini-stroke along with a seizure, but I am feeling better now. Ready to take on the world of dancing again.

I made a friend laugh hysterically when he tried to cover my eyes so I wouldn't see the blinking of a concert so he had covered by eyes with a blanket and I was dancing underneath. Well, I have to dance to good music.

I am used to hospitals, and I just bounce back quickly. After a nap of course.

John Douglas Ball 31. July 2009, 15:01

John Douglas Ball 31. July 2009, 15:28

Yes they are not the best places to be.I thank God that I have been spared a long visit for the last eighteen months,But I do know how ir feels laying in a hospital bed waiting for your visitors to arrive.I am Glad you are out and hope it remains that way and that you stay as fit as possible Christy.  :coffee:

Suntana 31. July 2009, 18:42

No problem, Christy. We know you have some much higher priorities. The banter can always wait. Your health has to come first. I guess on some level it's good that you can by now take these hospital visits in stride. Heck, I get anxiety just having a little syringe of blood taken out. :insane: :faint: Great to hear you're so resilient.

John Douglas Ball 31. July 2009, 18:46

Just to let you know we care.

Thanks everyone. I have such great friends who really care. And yes I agree, my blog is a rocking - and I want everyone to come a knocking.    :jester: :jester:
khopesh: I really am sorry you have had to endure so many trips to the hospital. I know how that feels. I once had to go the hospital 4 times in a month span. And just last August, spent 7 days in the hospital. So like I said, I am used to it. Now we are looking into having brain surgery. :faint: At least the doctor's are. I'm not. :insane:

Thanks again for all your well wishes. Love them all.

John Douglas Ball 2. August 2009, 06:43

Hi Christy glad to see are back on form. You are not trying to tell me they are giving you another brain? hope it is not mine as I need it when I can find it.Like me its lost again :insane:     :coffee:

I can so relate to the hospital runs. There for awhile I was beginning to think it would be easier for me to just rent out a wing from the hospital and that way I wouldn't have that 2 minutes at home before having to go back again.awww

Lovinmalamutes 2. August 2009, 13:09

BTW I hope you haven't any more visits for quite awhile!!!! :D

Khopesh 2. August 2009, 13:15

Hehe iv been thinking the same I'm back in again tomorrow for yet another pre opp ready for my third opp in 2 years.

John Douglas Ball 2. August 2009, 13:21

Yes Christy we all hope that you do not need to visit the hospital again and that your health holds up.   :coffee: My prayers are with you my friend.

Lovinmalamutes 2. August 2009, 13:25

If I may ask, what is the problem? I am always so frustrated when it takes several operations to fix one problem.

Khopesh 2. August 2009, 14:33

I am having reconstructive sergery (after a severe motorcycle accident)so it has to be done in phazes I am hoping this will finish it of but have not been garanteed that as of yet.

Lovinmalamutes 2. August 2009, 15:14

Oh I see. Yes that can end up being a series of surgeries. I had a truck accident. An F-250 t-boned my little Suzuki Sidekick on the driver's side. It did alot of damage to my body. And of course totaled my little truck.:eyes:

Khopesh 2. August 2009, 15:16

I was braudsided by a woman in a jeep with bullbars while she did her hair in the mirror entering a roundabout smashed my left side to pices.

Lovinmalamutes 2. August 2009, 15:27

My left side too, with a few issues on the right side.. I no longer have alot of bone in those areas it is all metal with more needing to be done. I just have had all I can take and have put all surgeries on hold. I am to the point that I just can't take anymore.
If it's okay with you I will add you to my prayers.

Khopesh 2. August 2009, 18:38

Ofcorse its ok however I am not nesaseraly the religious type myself but my thaughts are with you and your recovery all the same.Do you now have a letter to add to your passport I was given one by the hospital as I might set of metal ditectors at the airport lol. I didn't think sergical metal actualy registered but apparently sometimes it dose set them off.

Lovinmalamutes 2. August 2009, 21:59

Yes. If you go through some of the detectors it can set them off.
You get a little card to verify you have surgical implants!
You don't have to be religious, and I'm not either. I believe and that is what is important IMO.

Khopesh 2. August 2009, 22:42

well at the moment I am not permited to travel on planes so I was given a letter and i think it actualy tells me to send it of with my pasport or somethink tbh I'v not read it yet lol

Christy 2. August 2009, 22:52

First of all, hulky baby, I am looking for a new brain - so if your brain is available I just might come a knocking.

and Second, Khopesh, lovinmalamutes, I am so sorry for all you have had to endure. I was in a car accident 13 years ago. We were sitting dead stop behind two other cars and I guarantee you if those cars would not have started moving when this car plowed into the back of us, I just might not be here talking to you. The car that hit us, slammed into the back of our car at 55 miles an hour. His excuse was he was late for work (and he owned the darn place). What an excuse. For the first 3 months I had severe headaches, then for the next 3 months I had nothing wrong (except for the usual whiplash, etc.), but after that I started with my seizures. And it has been that way ever since. So I endure seizures and mini strokes whenever I have to hear strange sounds (like weird cell phone noises) or strange lights (like strobe lights) or even the weather. I am on 4 different seizure meds and I have been in and out of hospitals more than I care to think about.

So I understand what you are going through. I have also had to endure surgery based on other problems that were no fun. So far, I have had 7 surgeries in all. Yeah man.

So we will say a little prayer for everyone.

P.S. Thanks for the flowers, Hulk. They are beautiful.

Khopesh 2. August 2009, 23:00

Aww bless your heart honeybear I will meditate for you both hows that your in my thaugts and hope you both get better soon I hope he got done for it I hate people that dont treat cars bikes with the respect they diserve they shouldn't be allowed to drive/ride them as for all intence of perposes they may aswell be loaded guns.

Christy 4. August 2009, 00:51

I agree with you. I also had a friend who asked me to speak with his friend because she had "killed someone" with her car and she had seizures. I asked him if she knew she had seizures and he said yes. I told him that I cannot in good conscience speak to her because she knew what she was doing and she was driving a "loaded gun" as you said. She should not have been driving. :frown:

Khopesh 4. August 2009, 09:01

such a shame there is not enough tutoring in driving lessons realy imo and I think that is also partly to blame because if they were shown how it can ruin sombodies life including there own from the start I'm sure people would be a little more causiouse.

John Douglas Ball 4. August 2009, 09:17

Hi all I agree with both of you.I personaly have returned my license to the authorities as I would not want to be responsible for causing the death of anyone and with my condition it would have been been possible or even probable
