I’ve never had to rent me no car before. I’ve had reliable cars my whole life and have never had one fail me until the day before yesterday. I was driving along and all of a sudden I heard me some knocking coming out from the hood. I had never heard of such a sound coming from a car before and immediately pulled over. A little plume of smoke trickled out of the hood and it didn’t smell too good either. An hour later a tow truck was taking my car to a mechanic. I soon found out just how bad the damage was. I’m not good with car parts but I remember him telling me something about the drive shaft needed replaced and it was going to take about a week and cost me an arm and a leg. I still needed to get around so I inquired about their policy on rental cars and I was told they had no such policy I would have to call my own place. Well I didn’t even know where to look, I had never seen any in my travels here in Sydney. There were around though and I’m still trying to compare car rental places to figure out the cheapest one to go with. I need to go pick up a prescription tomorrow so I will be deciding tonight which rental place to go with.
