I gave Chakra a chance and I decided to keep it. It is fantastic. All I had to do was to modify my rc.local and rc.conf plus I added my own homebrew rc.firewall. Perfect so far.
Since I like very simple things, I removed several apps but I must mention that Chakra believes in the KISS principle. Everything is running better than expected. I added Google Chrome, JRE6 and Gecko-Mediaplayer. I deleted Arora.
Just awesome!
