Party Time!

As you already know we've had two major product releases today and the annoucement of Opera Link, so we're rockin' San Francisco to celebrate our converged Internet experience.
If you can't attend in person, then you should join us online! We're providing a streaming video of the event, so everyone should check it out! The show can be viewed from 05:30 AM UTC/GMT (that's 10:30 PM Pacific Time). There'll be talk from our CEO, Jon S. von Tetzchner, and live performance by The Binges!
A live stream will be available here. If you can't watch it live, we're archiving the stream so you can check it out later here.
The format will be in WMA, so we recommend everyone to grab the latest version of the VLC player here in case you experience difficulties watching it.
The event will also be available for download and stream in MPEG-4 afterwards, but due to limitations from the provider this format couldn't be used to stream the show live.
For those of you on My Opera during the party, there'll be swag to collect such as Rock Opera t-shirts and other merchandise! ![]()
Pictures, comments from party attendees, and everything else you can think of will be posted from the Rock Opera guestbook. Looking forward "seeing" all of you!

i expected something REALLY spectacular like the "coming soon" - since several months... - opera MOBILE 9 which finally can compete with that iphone safari stuff (so we don't need to buy that overpriced apple crap).
but the desktop/mini betas with that "nice to have but i don't want to use opera on my desktop so what use should it have" link service (which is really nothing special at all anyway) is the only reason for you to do such a big party??
wohooo, how "exciting"...
anyway, keep up the good work on your mobile products and PLEASE finally release that mobile 9 which the whole world waits for. i would pay any price for it, if it will be as good as expected.
i hate the fact that those all mobile web browsers are kind of "closed group" user stuff (like the safari/webkit only available on iphone/nokia) to rip people off and force them to buy some crappy hardware just because the software. that's like stepping back 20 years or something in the computer market. unbelievable.
so i really appreciate there's at least opera out there with a fair product. but the the longer you wait the more share you'll loose to those thiefs.

The Binges go on just before halfway through the stream. JVT goes on right before them.
