For the last 9 years there has always been an .Auburn Cityfest. For this year the fest will be on April 25, 2009 at the west side of town, Kiesel Park, Auburn, AL 36849. It is the City of Auburn Parks & Recreation Department that will be sponsoring this outdoor festival and fair. The Fourth Annual Auburn CityFest Juried Art Show will be held at the same time the Auburn Cityfest is held.
On April 25 the Auburn CityFest will open by 9:00 A.M. and close by 5:00 P.M. The vendors will then be allowed to set up their booths on April 24 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. and again on April 25 from 6:00 A.M. to 8:30 A.M. The event will be a free admission for the public.
Visitors and vendors will have a free parking space. The designated parking area for the visitors will be at the field. The vendors will be advised as to where their designated parking area will be. RV parking will be allowed but must be called ahead of time. There will be public restrooms around the site.
The promoters will be providing electricity for the craft and arts vendors and for the juried artists section but for the food vendor there will be an additional charge of $20.00. Water, table and chairs will not be provided for the vendors. Vendors will need to bring their own tables.
Auburn Cityfest is a juried craft show so for interested vendors a sign application with pictures or slide of their work and booth must be submitted to the promoters. There are 100 craft vendors and 6 food vendors that the promoter for this year is looking for. The vendors space fee is $75.00 for the first 12x12 booth and for the second booth it will be for $35.00
