Financial results time again. The
third quarter results for 2009 are in. The overall revenue growth is only 8% for the quarter, but 38% for the first 3 quarters of 2009 compared to 2008. Currency/exchange rates are not in Opera's favour compared to last year, but this will probably normalize over time.

second quarter of 2009 are now available. Overall revenue was up 53%, and desktop revenue was up 93% since Q2 2008, which is lower than the previous quarters (currency rates are probably relevant here).

The financial results for the
first quarter of 2009 are now available. This time around, desktop revenue only increased by 103% since Q1 2008, which is down from the 117% revenue increase in Q4 2008. Still, growth continues in all areas and business segments, and profits doubled or so since Q1 2008.

In the financial results for the
4th quarter of 2008, you will notice that it's the same old story: Growth across the board, and record profits. Desktop revenue increased by a massive 117% compared to the same quarter last year because of more users, higher ARPU (Average Revenue Per User), and a weaker NOK compared to other currencies. And once again, the management is expecting further growth both in the short and long term.

financial results for the third quarter of 2008 are in. I feel that I'm repeating myself over and over, but again, there is growth across the board, revenues are increasing, profits are increasing, and Opera has a lot of cash available. The growth is also expected to continue into 2009.

The
numbers for the second quarter of 2008 were presented today. There isn't much to say compared to the last couple of quarters. Opera is still experiencing rapid growth in all business segments (49% revenue growth on Desktop, 50% for Devices), and profits are soaring. Revenues are expected to continue growing in both the short and the long term. There don't seem to be any signs of anything slowing down. Opera Mini in particular has some impressive numbers to show.

Today, Opera's
financial results for the fourth quarter of 2007 were announced. For those of you who just want the bottom line, here it is: Opera financially healthy. It is profitable, with significant growth in all business areas, and continued (and even accelerated) growth is expected. The future is looking so bright the company might have to invest in shades for all of its employees.
