The Games and Me. / Os jogos e eu.

After reading some *beeks* blog, i decided i should write up something about my life with games, and how NINTENDO was a BIG, i mean, a HUGE draw in my life, and i will explain how it changed my life altogether.
Back when i was 4, i had a Atari, it was swell, but it got NO space invaders, nor pitfall, not even pacman... It had some funny random games, i never got to remember then.
Few months later, my family sold the Atari, and bought a Phanton System (Dynacon, or something). I did first met Mario there. And so did i got pissed off for seeying everyone playing games sooooo well, and i always sucked at it. My vengefull spirit wanted me to grow into a good player, that i could put on competitive games against anyone... Of course, it was something that shatered my heart as well. It was funny, anyways... Haha, seeying japanese guys playing games scares me to death!
Now, the interesting part comes over. Super Nintendo. My family tossed the Phanton System into Oblivion (
), and then, they bought the magic box of eternal happyness... I was 8 then, and i could play... F-ZERO. Man, that game is aaaaaaaaaamazing! I´ve played it until i´ve finished it many times, but never on expert <o> it was too hard, but, pleasing, anyways.
Along with SNES, i´ve had one of the most remarkable contacts with my reason to live... Wrestling. That Mortal Kombat like WWF game did leave amark on me, and it played a huge part on my future as a wrestling fan, and anything related to. Of course, then i played Mortal Kombat, and i found it pretty funny too.
Alongside with all games i´ve played, i had to set a taboo: Never leave a game UNFINISHED... So, i do always finish any games i start to play... And the ONLY exception came in the form of a Superkick... I mean, Rushing Beat, or Brawl Brothers. I´ve... Been hurt in my pride, and... Not EVEN nowadays imanage to beat it on EASY, with 5 continues and 5 lives, which are the max values for each. AHHHHHHHHHHHH And that game has ONLY 4 stages <o>.
Well, NINTENDO did made me grow up a LOT. I´ve managed to find a passion of my life (RPG, with Final Fantasy) and Wrestling (WWF Arcade) and also, i did learn English ALONE (thanks to the games which required that....) and, i own a lot to Nintendo, for making my life... Something...
That´s all for now, next week, there will be more about gaming, and then, i hope it wil be something interesting to read.
