The Henrietta (933 N Street, NW).

Interestingly enough, the Henrietta has its own Wikipedia entry here.
Having been built in 1900, it's one of the more modern additions to the neighborhood.
The Salem Baptist Church, just to the east of the Henrietta:

It's not the same thing, but it always reminds me of one of Michael Carr's drawings many years ago of some houses on Tenth Street:

And looking west down M Street, with the Whitman on the left:

The editor is always reminded of the Sandburg poem, or course. But then he is always reminded that he has Maine Coon Cats, such as here. They are always accused of having catcher's mitts for paws, which gives the poem a strange feel.
