The north side of M Street, 900 through 1200 blocks, has been posted for no parking from February 2 through 20 during the day.
The editor has no idea why.
One presumes something major, which means it would have been planned ahead of time. In a perfect world, something this disruptive would have been briefed to the neighborhood through ANC or community meetings. It would allow people to make plans. Two or three days warning may be legal, but it is still short notice.
We apparently don't live in a perfect world. Darn!
