OK, we had pictures of tickets a couple of posts down from the day before yesterday.
So yesterday, we had:
at noon.
Something is missing from the picture, however. There as a picture of a tree on M Street garnished with a No Parking poster from two days ago. Here it is early yesterday afternoon:

In fact, all of the posters for three blocks had been taken down. The editor has no idea of who did it, but presumes that it was officially done since the posters were taken down, not angrily ripped down. Quickly tearing them down leaves tape and pieces of a poster behind. The editor understands these things.
The editor had been planning a post on something along the lines of: If you jokers don't show up and get the job done, the vigilantes from the Far Side are likely to come over and tear them down and sell them as souvenirs to the unsuspecting tourists.
One would sure like to know what's going on.
