Mayor Fenty came to the Blagden Alley neighborhood today to announce that the Tenth Street Park is, in fact, moving. Groundbreaking in June, and ribbon cutting in October. 2010!
Lisa and Bruno (the reddish poodle) and Jim McGrath (at right) were there:

The Mayor was ready for snow, which was just starting:
.
And Sherri Kimbel, of Jack Evans' office (Jack was at a Council audit hearing) and also VP of the Blagden Alley and Naylor Court Association, was there.

The details on the Park can be found here. There are some stub links there, but they'll be filled in. This is going to be a marvelous little addition to the community. Many thanks to Jack, Mayor Fenty, and about ten others who worked very hard on this over the last two years.
