The editor had some experience w/shutters a while ago. He actually made a couple. In the process of doing so, he got to looking at a lot of shutters on houses, buildings, whatever. And he noticed what the author of RenewShaw.com (Remaking le slum historique) noticed: Lots of those "shutters" are fake. If one knows anything about shutters, it's so obvious that one wonders why people do it.
There is another clue to fake: the hinges. There are a couple of ways to attach a shutter to a window, so there are two kinds of hinges: the "offset"
