The "Stables"

A while back, MPD looked at

in Blagden Alley as possible stables for the 15-16 MPD horses. The horses have been housed with the Park Service, but apparently that's not optimal for MPD, for several reasons. MPD is looking for alternatives. The community expressed support (with one opposed, but because of concern about rats, not horses.) at the January Blagden Alley and Nayor Court Association meeting where the Mayor was the main speaker.
The building apparently belongs to Doug Jemal, who bought 1234 Ninth Street and the associated outbuildings.
At any rate, the building has problems:
