Parking and Street Cleaning

Because of the hassle described here, the editor began to look forward to the annual cessation of the street cleaning curse. Two noted authories have said that "about December 1" is being discussed. Not set in stone, but a better favorite than the Redskins game against the Steelers (the Redskins were a one point favorite). Or think of December 1 as an over/under.
The editor understands why the street cleaning thing was implemented: We had dirty streets. Other cities do it. Etc. He does think, however, that when cars are moved for the orange street sweeper to come through, and the Big Orange does not come through, that residents who vacated should be given an un-ticket. I.e., the next parking ticket could be automatically cancelled. And it should be transferrable to other neighborhood people. It would make a good Christmas gift.
