My OperaWe're Famous Again for Several Minutes

One of the things that the Opera blogging software offers is a bit of analysis of the hits on the site. I.e., where they came from, such as the local blogs or, quite frequently, Google queries.
One such query lead me to this photographer's site using Blagden Alley as an interesting set of exteriors.
Reminds the editor of the time, probably back in the early 80's, when some short film producer did some serious filming one evening. Even had a fire engine rented to spray water in the air to simulate rain. The guy said the alley reminded him of the photographs of Dresden after the war. He meant that as a compliment, in the sense that Blagden Alley was interesting. I think.
