If you are not a 24 fan, the following is probably not of interest. But if you are, the editor would like to point out that this season's 24 seems a lot like Vince Flynn's Memorial Day. 24 has Jack Bauer and Flynn has Mitch Rapp. Vince Flynn is also involved in 24, and has been for a bit. You'd see the similarity.

Flynn's first book, Pursuit of Honor, didn't have Rapp. All the books since (see here) have, and they presume you've read the previous ones. Flynn differs from Tom Clancy in that Clancy was strategic and Flynn is very tactical. Flynn's books move very, very fast. And maybe you'll begin to think of Jack Bauer as a nice guy.
