Shortly before 9:00am. Sunday. Slightly raining. The editor goes out for the WaPo, as he gave up on the quality of its home delivery many years ago.
Alem is closed today (One Cup), perhaps because Simaret is visting family back in Addis Ababa for a few weeks. No WaPos left for him anyway.
Cafe Cozy Corner, just south of the impending Tenth Street Park, didn't have any WaPos delivered.
The CVS is open, but no WaPo either. As the clerk says, "It hasn't came yet.".
The editor will try later, downtown, hoping that the rain will keep some parking places open.
