As just about everyone around here knows, we are about to elect or re-elect a mayor. And when the editor says "we", he really means registered Democrats in the September primary election. DC's that way.
There are two viable candidates: Fenty and Grey.
The Logan Circle Community Association is sponsoring a forum this evening (July 21) at the Washington Plaza Hotel on Thomas Circle. The particulars are here. There's a straw poll after, but for registered Dems only. If the editor didn't have to be in Gaithersburg this evening, he'd be there.
