Possum Time

A bit ago the editor discussed a possum sighting. Since we feed a feral (neutered many years ago) cat in the evening, with remaining food coming in before dark, he wasn't concerned that he was feeding him. The way the food is eaten, and where the plastic dish winds up give pretty good clues as to who ate there.
So the editor and wife leave food out for the feral cat ( See A Cat and a Squirrel) at 5:00pm and head out to poker. Come back at 9:00pm and let the cats out.
Check on them in a bit, and they look happy. Then the editor looks up and sees

He must have just arrived, as he ate almost nothing.
Since the editor hasn't fed the possum for months, something else must be keeping him around. At any rate, it's probably time to call the animal control people and get him (?) relocated to foreclosure territory in the burbs.
