One of the fellow inmates here in Blagden Alley commented that she feels as if she were in a science fiction novel and had been abducted from home, taken to an alien planet, and put in a cage on display. Something about Murray Leinster and the Lensman Series.
Note: The title is not from the Heinlein book. (That was in Heinlein's second phase. The editor did, however, read all of phase one, knew where Heinlein's house was on pre-paving Mesa Road in Colorado Springs, and occasionally drove by it on his way to wherever.) It's biblical reference, but recalled from Robert W. Services' Tipperary Days, which precedes Heinlein somewhat.
