It took me quite some time to figure out why movies on gamevideos.com weren't playing.

It turned out that first playlist item is an ad loaded from ad.doubleclick.blabla. Big ad provider that I was happily blocking.

I guess this means we should have a stronger UI indication of blocked content? Or would that be just an annoyance? (I remember people complaining about the "irony" of getting a small yellow popup-box when a popup window was blocked..)

That might be nice if executed well.

But as I don't really care about 95% of things I block, I might learn to just ignore such indicator.

How about a friendly error page saying that the url was blocked ?
