I am a French guy, now in the UK for 6 years, and no I am not a wine expert!
Here in Europe, I leave aboard a lovely little barge (river boat, not a yatch!) and I thoroughly enjoy the experience. The good part of this is that there are plenty of DIY opportunities. Luckely I am well supported by the expert advice of the Barge community...
I really like to get to know people, other cultures and the people that make it...
I also quite like learning new languages. I am currently on Spanish (and a bit of Dutch), so if anyone of you wants to give me the pleasure to practice those on messenger, that would be more than welcomed! (but don't expect to much to start ok?
)
I love life and open air. I will take any opportunity for a bit of hiking trekking in a fantastic landscape, nothing better than the fresh air at the top of a mountain or on a nice sea front...
Just right now, I am at my Parents in france for the festive season visiting family and friends on the continental Europe. Only problem, the weather is pretty bad and road not really safe (ice + snow + wind)... we are not really used to all that in this corner of the world...
So, this is difficult to get to all the differents places I am suppose to get to. No train either... Hopefully I will be able to get back to the UK in few days...
Time for me to go now...
