Definition

The ovarian cyst is the sac filled with liquid that forms inside the ovary. This piece of writing is about cysts which form during the monthly menstrual cycle, known to be functional cysts. Women have 2 ovaries that store & release eggs. Every ovary measures the dimension of a walnut, & one ovary is situated on each surface of uterus. Every month during the menstrual cycle, the follicle grows on the ovary. Most of the months, the egg is released as of this follicle (named ovulation). One more type of cyst, named the corpus luteum cyst, occurs after eggs are released from the follicle. These often hold a small quantity of blood. The Ovarian cysts are rather common, & are more common throughout a woman's pregnancy years. Ovarian cysts are fewer common after menopause.
