I decide on a lazy day...not likely with a stepdaughter about.

So over the weekend I'm feeling a little lazy and I brought that emotion through with me to this morning.

All I'm doing is looking over Gloria and checking the cricket score between England and West Indies (England eventually won but West Indies pretty much made the experts who rubbished them look a bit silly as it was quite a good match...oh, let's not get into sport!). Yes, that's all I'm doing and then my stepdaughter calls me upstairs.

Am I doing anything? Can I help her put her flat-packed chest of drawers together? I done some washing up and heated up some food. Nothing left for me to do. Yes, I can help (

).

Well, it came with an instruction book. Not booklet - that's not a mistake on my part - an A4 book - and it had a mistake in it!

(I'm using a lot of Homer Simpson all of a sudden

I tried to photograph Yasmin in the middle of our work but she would not let me take a good photo when she was not wearing make-up. I had to sneak a quick one as it was. The attached photo is, I'm afraid, the best that you'll get!

I did tell Yasmin that she is pretty enough not to need make-up, but...young girls, huh!

These drawers are betrayous ! ( does that word exist? ) it ' s sort of easy to put them together so that the back of the drawers come front .... And so on !

Not sure if betrayous is a word but I think that it should be. Sounds like it may have Latin origins to me.
