blogging, fashionably geek, lactose intolerant, 2011 ...

This morning I woke up with a headache and next to my side of the bed was an almost empty bottle of vodka and a half spent carton of orange juice - and an empty glass. Thankfully, this was not another life falling out of control moment. Last night I had been enjoying myself completely for the first time in - I don't know how long.

Dad, Mum, church, work ...

I have two types of friends on MyOpera - Christians and those who are not Christians. All of my friends remain my friends as you all have opinions that I value. So, how do I write a serious Christmas post that you'll all love?...

Anyway, a quick true story.

I said to my mother once (my mother is a Pentecostalist lay preacher who was born in Jamaica), I asked her, "Do you think that Britain should return to its original religion?"

Hello, y'all, by the way; that's if anyone is stumbling across this blog by accident. I'm new to the Opera community and have no friends here at this moment but, hopefully, that will change soon.

Anyway, 2010 was a disappointing year for me. I started last year with personal plans that came to nothing mainly due to my own health problems. A year later I have discovered that I am lactose intolerant and that I need to take certain medicine three times a day.
