This is the best bootleg I've got. So it's the obvious decision to start my blog with.
So what's so great about it? Almost everything, and I'm not talking about the show (although it was a great show), I'm talking about the video and audio quality (both next-to-superb), mastering and finally the dvd itself, with covers, dvd labels and a detailed info (this guy left nothig out). And then comes the show.
First of all, you can choose the audio stream you want (there is an DD 5.1 matrix, and two DD Stereo streams) from two different sources (you will be, however, mostly using the5.1 stream as it is "the best of both recordings" mastered and converted into 5.1 surround). Now something very important for a home-made dvd - the chapters are tuned in perfectly. There are no 5 minute duration limit per chapter, and you don't get chapters jump in the middle of a song - it's simple, it's precise, it's good. To end with pro's - video quality very good, you probably won't get a better view at VR until the official DVD release.
There are some bad points, though: sometimes camera gets irritatingly stunned - for examlpe when you're watching Weiland over Slash's solo, or when recording an empty scene (none of the band members in the frame). Otherwise, it's a very still shot, no shaking, "ceiling shots" and so on. You wouldn't see much of Matt Sorum, only in few frames, but that's the cost of "no disturbance position". There's a minute or two of "Cassette changing" display but it happens right during the break, so you don't miss anything.
Overall rating of the production: 9/10

The show:
An average VR show, I can't say that their shows oscillate much - if you don't mind Weiland's wicked twisting, and you're not irritated by the sound of his voice (if so you wouldn't be reading this), you'll love it. 3 GN'R songs and 2 STP songs covered, with 11 of their tracks make this setlist:
01.Intro
02.Sucker Train Blues
03.Do It For The Kids
04.Headspace
05.Superhuman
06.Crackerman
07.Illegal I Song
08.Fall To Pieces
09.Dirty Little Thing
10.Big Machine
11.It's So Easy
12.Sex Type Thing
13.Set Me Free
14.Guitar Jam
15.Used To Love Her
16.You Got No Right
17.Mr. Brownstone
18.Slither

(also the list of chapters). 3 solo/jamming sessions alltogether. That's pretty much about it.
