A new flat!

Wohoo, I finally found an apartment that I wanted, and I got it!

It's a tiny little place, but it was expensive enough. Luckily it was renovated in 2006, so I don't have to do much, just move my stuff in there. I need a lot of new stuff too, so I guess I will have to dig deep in my pockets in order to get everything I need.

I ordered an Internet connection yesterday, bad news.. Have to wait 4 weeks before I get it! :yikes:

I still don't know where I want to put everything, and how it's going to be, but I think it will turn out all right, and it will be fun to buy stuff and fill the apartment.. Except the curtains, I hate shopping for curtains Homer: Doh!

Maybe I will post some pics after I got everything set up, before the moving in party :drunk:

Sports at Opera

So, here I am again. I haven't been able to write for a while now. Why you might ask, or maybe you just don't care

Well, the reason is that we have gotten a ping pong table here at Opera, so after lunch and every break goes into playing the wonderful game table-tennis
I can't say that I have gotten any good, but at least I am better then when we first started, now I am actually able to hit the table, for the most part. And even smash the ball on rare occasions.

I love that table!

Flying is cool!

This Saturday, two friends of mine and me went flying. One of them, Morten, has just gotten his pilot license, so we went to a nearby airstrip and rented a plane.

First of all we had to check the plane according to the checklist, but after a while we were ready to take off. Morten sat easy and relaxed and waited to take off. I was not that easy, a bit nervous, heights is not something I care to much about.

Once up in the air, and after about 15 minutes I was able to relax and just enjoy it, and it was really fun  He did some aerobatics that made our stomachs turn, but all in all it was a great experience! We even flew over where we lived.

Flying IS cool!!

A new week

It seems like the snow has finally stopped falling, and the weather is nice and sunny

Went to the cinema this weekend, saw a movie called "Underworld evolution" And all I can say is.. well.. if you don't like vampires and special effect fights scenes, it's not a movie for you. I thought it was an OK movie, it was entertaining in some ways =) But this is not a movie that I would buy on DVD and put in to my collection.

I am very glad to see that fluffybunny has returned to the My Opera Forums, welcome back

I can't belive it

This is just incredible, even more snow!! 30 cm in 24 hours!!

Anyway, enough about the snow.
Joen has finally been able to get the domain http://joen.com. Check it out, I bet you will find it exiting , you could check out his real blog at http://joen.dk/ .
Other then that he excels at filling my desk with empty soda bottles, even though he is seated in the other corner of the office.

I'll see if I can get some of his pictures uploaded to my blog

Snow snow snow

It's been snowing a lot here in Norway the last few weeks. And since my car crash, my car has been located on the parking lot in front of where I live and collecting snow.

This is the result:

After about one hour I managed to get all the snow clear so I can actually get in and out of the car and drive it.

All that snow...

On the move

We have gotten new offices

Our department have now moved down to a bigger office downstairs here at Opera.
The new office looks nice and big =) I hope we have as much fun here as we did in our last office. Our department has been in this office before, so Haavard got his old desk back, I bet he is happy about that.

It keeps snowing here in Oslo, but luckily I haven't crashed again .
But all this snow gets me into a big traffic jam every morning, I hate traffic :bomb:.
Oh well, I guess I just have to deal with it, living so far away from the office and driving every day. :irked:

So I guess I have to this for his sake.

Four jobs I've had
1. Paperoute for Aftenposten. After school job where I delivered newspaper for about 1 hour, rode around on my bike. Sometimes the job was great, other times when it snowed or rained I would much rather just stay home.
2. Worked in a grossary store where I first worked in the cash register, until moving up in the line and bossed people around . It was an ok job all though it was a lot to do, and not much pay or feedback. Plus getting yelled at by customers all day wasn't my thing.

I only had those 2 jobs before I started here :eyes:

The snow did some damage

It's been a while since I updated now. Sorry about that.

Last week it started to snow like crazy here in Oslo Norway, and on Friday the stupid snow made me crash my car  I was driving out from where I live, and there was a few cars in front of me waiting to get on the main road. Well, I guess you know what's coming, I had no chance of stopping and crashed :irked: Luckily the speed was rather low so everybody was OK, but a few cars got damaged. They went in to each other after I hit the last car. My car got the most damage, and I guess that is completely fair because it was my fault. Anyway I think this Sunday will be used for fixing it. I hope I am able to fix it, and that I don't have to buy new parts.

Snow sucks sometimes.. :furious:
