Fake tilt shift

,

Have you seen all those cool "macro" pictures popping up on flickr?
Faking the narrow depth-of-field makes quite cool effects, so I had to try myself  The picture below is from the construction site next door to where I work. Click the picture to see a bigger version.

So, here I am :)

, , , ...

I'm in Tokyo, my second day so far. I will be here working for two weeks with the great bunch of people at Opera's office. Now it's week-end, and as the geek I am, the first thing to do is a trip to gadgets-world in Akihabara.

Edit; this post was originally created with Opera Mini, featuring a very touristy picture with me, my travel guide and my coffee... However - it seems like the photo upload from Mini 4 beta doesn't work as it should; the picture file was 0 bytes ;(

Anyways - have a couple of updated images; since I planned to buy (and bought) a new camera here, I didn't bring my old Nikon D70. So; for the first time I've been "touristing" without another camera than my mobile. And - with optimal conditions, I think the pictures from that little phone comes out quite OK!

We are sailing

, ,

25 of my co-workers and I have rented 3 sailing boats and will be heading over to Greece to sail for a week. Really looking forward to this vacation.

Future Oslo by eBoy

Art display on the central station in Oslo. In the middle, there's even a small Opera logo

Opera Mini blir til

Her sitter Jo og gjør magiske triks for å få Opera Mini best mulig!

Last possibility for snowboarding?

We spent most of this beautiful day in Tryvann (ski centre just above Holmenkollen in Oslo). Awsome weather, but slightly wet snow. Wonder how many days they manage to keep it open!

HenrikL testing the photoblog screen

At Opera, we've now put up a screen showing the latest incoming photo blogs from around the globe. Henrik is doing the final testing

After the home match with FC Barcelona, metro line 5 is pretty crowded :)

Moving in!

So, we're finished refurbishing... or maybe not? However, needed to start the move now (need to wash the old ap.), so the latest pictures should give you a brief description on where we are

More pictures in the album - bathroom really starts to get somewhere

Refurbishing our new apartment

Radka and I bought a new apartment and got the keys on Oct 15th. From there, we had some short 45 days to refurbish everything. I have to admit this takes a bit more time than expected (I've heard they always do), and Radka and I invest quite a lot of long evenings. I've posted a couple of pictures showing our progress. It "should" all be ready by Nov 30th when we need to be out of the old apartment...
