I am a fan since morning when I saw the posters while surfing the net. Awesome.

The Dark Knight will come on 18th July. I can't wait to see it.

I used to love Ubuntu. It was a damn good disto as a beginner. It's still a good system for those who are not intrested in programming. But for is it's very lightweight. Not even comparable to Debian.
But i like that folks at Ubuntu. They made something new, something damn good. If there weren't Ubuntu, there would less Linux users. Many of us evolved from Ubuntu users.
I like those folks. But there are also idiots.
A few days ago, i was searching for Linspire. I checked out Wikipedia, it said it's Debian based (that is the truth btw). I found a cool little app, LSongs. I checked Wikipedia again. Well, there, Linspire was Kubuntu based. Wow. Okay, it was 1:1. I wanted to find out what is the truth. So i navigated to Linspire's official website. Debian based. Okay, I changed at LSongs wiki page Kubuntu to Debian. I checked the history of page edits. Well, some smart Kubuntu developer changed it. Shame.

Btw, Freespire is based on Ubuntu and it uses KDE. But Linspire is still based on Debian.

I still love Ubuntu folks, Launchpad and other Ubuntu related things (getdeb.net and fullcircle), but i hate Kubuntu. I never liked it really. Only because it uses KDE, and current KDE (3.5.8) is garbage. Sorry. I hate it. It's ugly and complicated. I think KDE 4 will be better, I may give it a shot but I'm loyal to GNOME, and I like it very much. It's the best desktop enviroment, better than any other. I hope after KDE 4 we will get updates (we must, or we will lose lot of GNOME users, probably lot od newbies).

What is the difference between GNOME and KDE? The same as for Xp and Vista. Usability vs. eye candy. I vote for usability.

All ION/IceWM/XFce/E17 users: sorry.
All GNOME users: let's make the best even better. Use GTK insted of QT, make themes for Metacity insted of KWin.

Wow. I wanted to write about that Kubuntu guy, but I wrote about hating KDE. LOL.

Chuck Norris would use GNOME

Opera is the best browser I ever seen. However, it colud be better. Here is the five things i miss from Opera:

• HTML E-mail composing in M2
  
• Mini (or Docked) widgets. Something like the Opera Link in the lower left corner. Something like FFx extensions.
  
• Acid2 test not to break apart when scroll.
  
• Faster start on UNIX
  
• Full GTK support. It'd be nice.
  
  
• +1: <video> tag && news we saw in Hakon's presentation.
  

I hope guys@Opera read this. BTW, what about Opera 10? I hope we'll see the first betas soon.
Now what I want for Christmas is Kestrel

Friday afternoon me and my friend went to the city to check out keyboards. My requirements were:

• US layout
  
• Slim buttons
  
• Black color
  

I found a black, slim keyboard but not with US layout. That model was some noname "Made in China" keyboard and it was ~20 Euros. So we went to the next shop. There we found two Genius keyboars, both black, both slim and both of them US layout. (The guy at the non-US layout shop said there are less and less keyboards with US layout). Both of them was pretty cheap, <10 Euros each.

Saturday morning I went to the shop and bought the more expensive (less cheap) model. It was 9 Euros.

About the keyboard

• It's made by Genius.
  
• It has an Fn button. PgUp, PgDn, Home and End are on the arrow keys. For example PgUp = Fn+ Up arrow.
  
• It has multimedia keys.
  
• Keys can be pressed vey easily.
  
• It has standard QWERTY layout (I switched back from Dvorak this summer so I'll not rearrange it ).
  
• According to Genius' website this is the newest slim model.
  

I love this keyboard, it's similar to laptop keyboards. I love laptop keyboards => i love my keyboard
It works very well with Debian (Amarok can't handle MMkeys; Opera can not handle Back and Foreward) and it will work better when i'll config it deeper.

This keyboard has one tiny problem. The delete and the insert keys are on the top of the keyboard.
