One-day trip in Shanghai

Since Taxa who came from Spain almost spent all his vacation in Japan, he just had only 2 days in Shanghai for a very short visit. I took him around Shanghai in one-day. Hope next time he could leave more time for Shanghai, see more details in this beautiful city.

In one-day short trip, we went to Jade Garden for have some dinner, of course, our famous XiaoLongBao(小笼包). After dinner, we took a bus and exchange a metro to Shanghai Circus, we enjoyed a wonderful show ‘Intersection of time(时空之旅)’...as the matter of fact, I don’t like any show of circus from when I was a little girl, I guess I got some bad or wrong impression from some movies about circus, people seems always struggle with poor and danger...but I applauded again and again after the show, for these wonderful boys and girls' performance, they are so young, so brave, so passionate about their work which is so hard. XinTianDi was the final place we visited, there were so many pubs and bars. Taxa said XinTianDi made him feel that he came back to some places in Europe.

Giving & Asking

My grandfather was ill for almost one month, and once he became so very sick that I was very worried about him. Fortunately, now he has got recovery.

He is 83 years old, and lived with my grandmother together, where is not very far from my house. During the period of his illness, I made soups and sent it by myself every morning before my work. Every time he saw me and repeated one sentence to me, ‘Don’t make soup anymore, I can’t eat it because I don’t like fish soup…’ I knew the fact is that he didn’t want to make troubles with me…My grandparents are comman but great, in their whole life, they always want to give things to their children and never want to get some feedback from their children.

Is that a good thing for kids? I asked myself... Only giving and returning never seems a loving thing, but actually it is a worng thing making children became more selfish and irresponsible. If I were a mother, I would give my kids the things I could provide but also ready to ask them for the things they should do as being a right man.
