About me
Journalist and communications related servicesMy work
Work for a local Chihuahua's newspaper and since I'm a relatively new reporter I'm assigned to the area most rookies are sent to cover, that is "notas rojas" which is mostly police crime reporting. What veteran reporters say is that I MUST pass the test of fire, supposedly if a reporter can stand to go through all the late nite reporting, the tougness of the field and other hardships involved, later when you're assigned to cover other areas it would feel like a cakewalk.
I really hope so...
I've being covering "notas rojas" for almost two years now and believe me it doesn't get easy, it gets to you sometimes, I have to work even late at night and sometimes on weekends, I have to go to crime scenes, accidents, fires, robberies, etc.
anyway I feel I'm getting used to it though not liking really it that much... sometimes.
