Sometimes you find that deleting photos from your electronic devices can be a more difficult task then you anticipate. This guide can help you get them off the most common devices you own easily and quickly.

For photos that are on your computer, you will need to figure out where the photos are. Most often they will be in a folder called "my documents". This is easily found by clicking on the start menu, going to documents and finally to my documents. Once you have my documents open, the photos you want to be removed should be available for you to select.

On this screen, you will click once on the photo you want to delete, which is called highlighting it. After it is highlighted, right click and select the word delete on the menu that pops up to send its two your recycle bin. They are placed into your trash can at this point for permanent removal later. Or just highlight it and press the "delete" key on your keyboard.

If you want to completely remove the photographs from your hard drive, click the red X. In the top right corner and moved to the trash can on your desktop. Right click on that icon and select in the recycle bin. You can also use these steps to remove photographs from your emails, external hard drives and other removable media sources.

To remove photos from your camera, you can review them through the menu and decide to delete them from the device at that time. Most cameras will require you to confirm that you want to leave them, but once it is done they will be removed from the memory. You can also attach the camera to your computer and remove them with the steps outlined above.

Deleting photos from your electronic devices is a relatively easy process if you take your time to break the steps down into manageable parts. You are not stuck with keeping photographs that you do not want and a few clicks of your mouse can quickly get rid of them for you.
