Solution For " Error Retrieving Updates. Interrupts At 5% Download Completion "
The problems with ISP/Error Retrieving Update issues has now been fixed.
The problem produces the Ad-Aware SE warning: "Error retrieving updates" when performing a webupdate. It interrupts at 5% download completion .
( If your update stalls at another point than at 5 %, your problem stems from another issue.

Ad-Aware SE Personal
At first, uninstall your previous version of Ad-Aware.
When uninstalled, use the link below to access the NEW Ad-Aware installation file.
http://download.lavasoft.com/personal/aawsepersonal.exe
Download and begin the installation process. (you may need to disable your Firewall to allow for downloads).
When the installation is complete, open Ad-Aware and "check for updates", update to the latest definitions file.
Ad-Aware SE Plus and Ad-Aware SE Professional
At first, uninstall your previous version of Ad-Aware.
Secondly, log into the Support Center and download the NEW installation file.
Download and begin the installation process. (you may need to disable your Firewall to allow for downloads).
When the installation is complete, open Ad-Aware and "check for updates", update to the latest definitions file.

Ad-Aware SE のアップデート時にエラーメッセージが表示されアップデートが停止する問題に関し、Lavasoftから修正方法がリリースされています。
以下に記す修正方法は、ダウンロードが5%終了した時点で"Error retrieving updates"エラーが発生し、アップデートが停止する方法の修正方法であり、5%以外の場所でアップデートが立ち往生した場合は、他の原因に起因する。

1/
現在あなたのPCにインストールされているAd-Awareをアンインストール。
2/
アンインストール終了後、以下のリンクにアクセスし最新版のAd-Awareインストール用ファイルを入手する。

3/
インストールが完了したら、Ad-Awareを起動。最新の定義ファイルに更新するために"check for updates now"をクリックする。
