欧州開発のミュージックソフトで2004年4月の「PlayStation Experience」において公開された。
遊び方は簡単。人気ポップスのプロモーション映像に合わせて歌えば、音程の強弱やリズムなどが採点されてそれがスコアとなる。さらに平たく言ってしまえば、いわゆるカラオケボックスにあるカラオケ採点システムをゲーム化したものである。対象年齢も3歳以上と、「EyeToy」に匹敵するパーティソフトのひとつである。
ユニークなのは、同じ曲を同時に歌う対戦プレイが可能というところである。付属するマイクは重量感もあってなかなかの本格仕様。指向性が高く、2人が並んで歌っていても、それぞれの歌いっぷりを個別に採点される。ソフトには、このハンドマイクが2本と、マイク端子の音声入力をUSB入力へと変換するユニットが付属する。収録されているプロモーション映像は約30曲、ジョージ・マイケルやマドンナ、ヴィレッジピープルなどの定番から、最新ヒットナンバーまで幅広くカバーされている。英国での販売価格はマイクが2本と、変換ユニットがついて35.99ポンド。日本円に換算して6,800～6,900円程度である。

In three years Norwegians have bought 660,000 such games worth half a billion kroner (USD 77.3 million), and the market is surprisingly wide.

A few weeks ago, I went to the "Bologna Fiera del Libro per Ragazzi(ボローニャ国際絵本原画展)". A lot of Japanese illustrators were accept for this competition.
"Yoshikazu Takai(たかい よしかず)" had a autograph session. He was drawing his character very carefully. All of people who got his autograph beamed with pleasure.
Last Friday evening, I went to the exhibition of "Shiko Munakata(棟方志功)". His "Byobu(屏風)" drawn some carp was impressive to me. However, I was pleased with the "Byobu" drawn some owls. And this was displayed in children's room of "Soichiro Ohara（大原総一郎）", his patron.
Last Saturday, I went to the concert of Orchestra Ensemble KANAZAWA(OEK、オーケストラ アンサンブル金沢). OEK was trained by "Hiroyuki Iwaki（岩城宏之）" OEK is one of the top of the orchestra in Japan. OEK also gives good service. The quartet of OEK played two strings quartet of Haydn, "Lark" & "Serenade", as a lobby concert before the openning.
OEK gave an excellent performance, but two rising player were unskilled.

芸術の秋
いろいろ行ってきました。いずれも感動的なものでしたが、志功の肉筆画は印象的でした。
アンサンブル金沢は相変わらず高い水準を維持しています。新進の演奏家達は、残念ながらオーケストラのレベルに到達していないように思いました。

Recallって書いたからって、車じゃない。チョット思い出して・・・。
クラシック音楽の話。
レ・ヴァン・フランセ、2005年10月22日、大阪シンフォニーホールにて。
今、世界を席巻しているフランスの管楽アーティスト5名とピアノによるアンサンブル。
フルート ： エマニュエル・パユ
オーボエ ： フランソワ・ルルー
クラリネット ： ポール・メイエ
ホルン ： ラドヴァン・ヴラトコヴィッチ
フレンチ・バスーン ： ジルベール・オダン
ピアノ ： エリック・ル・サージュ
という面々。
プログラムは、1800年代後半から1900年代のものでした。
圧巻だったのは、テュレイの六重奏曲第三楽章のガボット。
CD等で一度くらい聞いたことはあるのですが、こんなチャーミングなガボット
だったとは思っても見ませんでした。
全六曲の内、現代音楽三曲。
あまり現代音楽は好きではないのですが、楽しめました。
こんなに違った曲になるとは・・・。そんな感じです。
魅せたのは、ルルー。
天才と謳われるオーボーイストの音色とテクニックの凄まじさに圧倒されました。
パユが仕掛けルルーがおどける。その掛け合いにさり気無く乗っていくメイエ。
そんなことは何処吹く風と正確なピッチを刻むオダンとヴラトコヴィッチ。
素晴らしい管楽アンサンブルでした。
