"Astronomy Picture of the Day"NASAの”Astronomy Picture of the Day”よりWhat's happening over the horizon? Although the scene may appear somehow supernatural, nothing more unusual is occurring than a setting Sun and some well placed clouds. Strangely, the actual sunset was occurring in the opposite direction from where the camera was pointing. Pictured above are anticrepuscular rays. To understand them, start by picturing common crepuscular rays that are seen any time that sunlight pours though scattered clouds. Now although sunlight indeed travels along straight lines, the projections of these lines onto the spherical sky are great circles. Therefore, the crepuscular rays from a setting (or rising) sun will appear to re-converge on the other side of the sky. At the anti-solar point 180 degrees around from the Sun, they are referred to as anticrepuscular rays.

地平線の向こうで何が起きているのでしょう？この光景は何か超自然的に見えるかも知れませんが、何も変わったことではなく、沈む太陽とうまく配置された複数の雲があるだけです。
面白いことに、実際の日没はカメラが向いている方向とは逆方向で発生しています。写真は「裏御光」と呼ばれる現象です。
これを理解するためには、写真によく撮られる光芒（薄明光）から始めましょう。これは太陽の光が散在する雲間から射しているようなときはいつも見られます。太陽光は本当は複数の直線に沿って進むにもかかわらず、球形の空にこれらの線が投影されて複数の大きな円を描きます。そのため、夕陽（もしくは、朝日）からの光芒は空の反対側に再集中するように見えます。太陽から180度回った反対側のそれらは「裏御光」と呼ばれます。

"Slowlife", this is the fashionable word now in Japan.
"Slowlife" means life by a slow rhythm.
Climbing, camp, walking, fishing, etc... is also "Slowlife".
I climbed the mountain in outskirts yesterday.
A lot of flowers, nippon bells, Japanese hyacinth, barrenwort, "IWAKAGAMI"(Schizocodon soldanelloides f. alpinus), sorrel etc... and cherry, was in blossom beside the climbing route.
The snow also remained a little on the north slope.
I was happy with a lot of flowering plant, cherry and snow.
スローライフという言葉が昨今流行している。
ゆっくりした生活リズムを取り戻そうということだろう。
登山、キャンプ、釣りなどもスローライフのようである。
昨日、琵琶湖の西にある比良山系に登った。人のいないルートを選んで。
花、雪、桜、新緑の混在する中を歩いてきた。スローライフを味わってきた。
