Apple QuickTimeApple released an update of QuickTime, fixing at least 11 security holes in it for both Mac and Windows.
Windows QuickTime users will need to use the bundled Apple Software Update application.

Adobe Flash PlayerAdobe is urging all user of Adobe Flash Player to upgrade to a latest version which fixed 9 vulnerabilities.
The version which a lot of users is using is "9.0.47.0" and the latest version is "9.0.115.0".

Several blogs said that Windows users who thought they had automatic updates set had their machines pached and rebooted.
Microsoft said that Aoutomatic Update Mechanism is no change. And the company also said that recent update didn't change Automatic Update settings.
The company is looking into whether customers might have actually had their settings changed by Microsoft Office or Windows OneCare, two programs that do have mechanisms that will change a computer's automatic update preference settings.
Meanwhile, in a separate posting, Clinton acknowledged that some people are having trouble manually installing updates after moving to the latest version of Windows Update.

Apple today issued a software update to plug a security hole in its QuickTime media player software. The flaw is present in both Mac OS X and Windows versions of the player.

Zovi discovered the flaw after conference organizers relaxed the rules a bit and a $10,000 prize was added to the mix.
