Windows XP Speed Boost Coming with SP3

According to the report of Devil Mountain Software, the performance of Windows XP SP3 was 10% faster than Windows XP SP2.

Devil Mountain ran its OfficeBench suite of performance benchmarks on a laptop equipped with Office 2007, Microsoft's latest application suite. The notebook -- the same unit used in the Vista/Vista SP1 tests earlier -- featured a 2.0-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 1GB of memory
Their test result on OfficeBench:
Windows Vista : 90sec.
Windows Vista + SP1 : 90sec.
* Vista + SP1 is no faster than out-of-the-box Vista
Windows XP + SP2 : 40sec.
Windows XP + SP3 : 36sec.
