A day in the life of Chris Jordan

We went looking at a boat to live on last weekend. We found the almost perfect one. Just down the road from my work, only a few miles from Imogens school, sited on a stunning marina where you can wake up with ducks looking in though your window. 73 feet long she has 2 bedrooms and was a good size aswell and all a snip at 125,000. Nice cheap way to live as there is no way we will be able to ever get a house.

Sounds good eh?.. the problem is that marine mortgages are even more difficult to get than normal ones.. mainly cos its a lot easier to drive off and vanish in a boat than a house. Unfortunately as I have only been back in the country less than a year there is no way they will consider me so we have been turned down .

Its starting to look like the only way we will ever be able to live is to move back abroad, this country is just too expensive to live. I have no idea how anyone ever gets a house these days.
