Elite Pop是荷兰新近成立的蚊型唱片公司，不过他们的首张发行却值得留意：一张特别包装的限量黑胶单曲，由Wermut的新分支Ich Wollte, Ich Könnte推出，Wermut这支法国团体一直颇受本人关注，其独特的音乐创作理念在当今的所谓阴暗圈里是那么的与众不同，早前这个分身曾在Treue Um Treue和Reue Um Reue这两个厂牌的第三个分部Getreu Allezeit（这家分部主要发行电影）发行了一部独立电影，该电影由Ich Wollte, Ich Könnte(Wermut的Laszlo P.S.)执导，片名为 Conspiracy（共谋），该片是仿佛某种幽闭恐怖症的体验，让你置身于一个不完整的循环里，一点点细微的变化牵引你通过那不断重复的声音和影像，透过那些破碎的片断与重复跳动的声响共同制造出一种幽闭的氛围，毋庸置疑证明他们是一支特立独行的声响制造者。

这张唱片也不例外，其概念非常独特：灵感来自于一种被称为馆藏音乐，也称做库存音乐，是由一些未知音乐人创作的一种非常柔和的背景音乐。

如同Wermut，Ich Wollte, Ich Könnte也是受极简主义影响至深的运用类比电子器材创作的队伍，但这支新组合仍拥有他们自己的声音：唱片里的音乐大多缓慢而旋律化， 缔造了一种奇异的氛围。很明显Ich Wollte, Ich Könnte尝试像电子先锋Tangerine Dream一样创作经典的krautrock音乐。

唱片以一首柔和的器乐曲Höher als die Wolken开场，将你周身笼入一种愉悦的氛围里。清澈，近似仙乐式的合成声响扩展开，不久后乐音渐渐褪去那愉悦感而转入一种无法抵御的忧郁情绪里。在比较出跳的一曲Sternenrechteck里，冷冽的法语女声带着机械感将音乐中孤绝的情感绘露无遗。

Des Traumes Sanfte Tasten是一支缓慢而忧伤的乐章，伴着某种雄辩式的男声与太空声响，令人回想起First Law。尽管这首曲子有些过长，但可以说是以一次怀旧而忧郁的冒险向80年代早期馆藏音乐致敬！
