Chain for Peace in the World

, , , , , , , , , , ,

I always wanted to do something for Peace on Earth, and today I found a way thanks to that blog and the artists I know who already did, for example, a song for peace :wizard:
So here, for you, are a few songs I have found in Youtube:
http://www.playingforchange.com/

In 1982, one film have very impressed me :eyes: When it was in cinemas, I have seen it three times. Then I have read some books about the life of the hero and I dreamed to do something strong with my life like he did :yes:

Maybe you know him, his life... He was the Mahatma (Great soul) Gandhi :smile: The film "Gandhi" was made by Richard Attenborough. It's a "must to see film" in my advice :up:
Have a look here
:idea: If you know some other songs in your language, or other artistic things like photos slideshow, films, animations, musics, paintings, poetries, famous speach... turning around Peace.
It can also be for:
  • Freedom
  • Beauty
  • Abundance
  • Love
  • Brotherhood
  • self-consciousness
  • All things needed for Peace...

- Please gives us a link here in your comment :smile: Thank you!

:idea: Also you can, and that's the goal here, add your own blog post for Peace, and I will put here the link to yours, you will also put a link to mine post and so on for each blog posts! :smile:
By this way we can make a blog's chain for Peace :wizard:

---> Think with your heart! :heart:

To add the "heart-dove" picture down on the right side of your blog, just copy the CSS code here and past it in the "custom style sheet" of your Opera blog design section:
#mobmenu {
background: url(http://files.myopera.com/holdowicz-claude/design/heart-dove.png) no-repeat;
width: 120px;
height: 120px;
z-index: 999;
float: right;
right: 7px;
bottom: 7px;
position: fixed;
display: block !important;
}
If you don't know where the "custom style sheet" is located, have a look on my tutorial here: http://my.opera.com/holdowicz-claude/blog/how-to-change-your-banner

My daughter made this picture for the father's Day and she didn't know anything about this post :smile:
The Peace chain is going to grow: :hat:

I have added a new post (in French) on the WordPress Community here:

I have added a new post (in English) on the Blogger community here:

Eu também realizada a análise dos sonhos, de acordo com Gustave Jung, por 6 meses. Eu também experimentei com regressões sob hipnose. Penso agora que temos muitas vidas. Eu também ler a investigação sobre NDE (Near Death Experiences = perto de morte experiências), como o livro do Dr. Raymond Moody (Life after life).

Claude 13. May 2009, 14:07

Bravo Simone :smile: Et merci.

Virgilia 13. May 2009, 14:43

Virgilia 13. May 2009, 15:29

Ok.I will,I promise!
But,what a pity...I can never be a tango star! :lol:

Claude 13. May 2009, 15:34

Why not?
As a Tango dancer, you're a star for me! :wink: Because you're on the way to be a good dancer. That's enough to be happy :smile:

Virgilia 13. May 2009, 15:38

Thank you very much to participating Mona :lol: I have added your post in the list here! You surprised me: You do not believe in Peace and you participate! :eyes: So there's stil a tiny light in your heart :wink:

Claude 14. May 2009, 08:32

Bea :wink: Sim com o Google: http://translate.google.com/ :lol:

Mona 14. May 2009, 10:26

Nope, there is no light, I am a villain :smile: Your topic was just a nice occassion to think abut the issue.
Basically the question is - why so many people wish for peace in silence whilst doing nothing... I mean - what can one do to strenghten peace? What can one do to help people in need?
I don't know. That's why I only help people in my environment - worldwide help is beyond my reach.

Rosy 14. May 2009, 11:29

Afreen(افرين) 14. May 2009, 20:39

Claude,
Very Inspiring post,good work.Well i don't think you've mentioned about 'Gandhi' being an "Indian",yeah..everyone he's father of Indian nation.I've not read everyone's post,but just randomly went through some of it.so,I would like to correct claude..:wink:,Gandhi never wanted any muslim or hindu nation,he just wanted an independent nation(free from britishers),the picture of muslim division came in nearing the time of independence just cause of "Jinnah"(the one who founded pakistan).And that movie was also good,Ben Kinsley enacted 'Gandhi'(his acting was brilliant).i liked ur music video too..i liked everything ..:smile:..Well...now that you've stressed on 'gandhi'..so its a tribute to him,or may be India(cause he belonged from there).There's one more person..who actually epotimize Peace ie: "Mother Theresa ":angel:

Nao 14. May 2009, 23:36

ohisashiburi!! and this is a great post !! :smile:
