My dreamed house

,

As we are going to move this summer, a few days ago, my wife asked me what kind of house I dream to own. So I made a drawing to express my dream, here it is :wizard:

That's the same kind of dreamed house I have drawn when I was teenager, a victorian style house

Why? In France I never see a such kind of house :eyes: From where my dream came?
As you can see, my dreaming house isn't a big one, but it is a very cosy one

And you what kind of house is living in your dreams?

Ciao Claude, nice place to live. This is my dream house, it's not actually a house but it's my dream flirt

Claude 5. March 2008, 14:38

Nice photo Barbara :eyes: Thanks!
You need to be in light, a big light?

Barbara 5. March 2008, 14:44

Yes a light that guides me through my life. I also love to sleep with the sound of the ocean and the waves crushing on the rocks

Claude 5. March 2008, 14:47

So you have to move Barbara! I know that you're living in the mountains now, don't you?

Barbara 5. March 2008, 14:58

Yes, you remember well. I live in the mountains, but we also have the sea here not very far, at about 30 minutes drive from where i live, and when i can i go and have a long walk on the beach at night, i love the sea by night and in the winter

Claude 5. March 2008, 15:15

Waow  If you have some pictures or videos to show us how nice it is... p:

Barbara 5. March 2008, 15:19

Sure, as soon as i can i will show you some

Claude 5. March 2008, 15:33

Your dream house is very beautiful and it seems to be very cosy. I like it ver much.
Do you want the house in country side or in seaside?

I hope your dream come true and thanks for your vote in my poll.

Claude 5. March 2008, 20:07

You're welcome Miguel  I prefer the country side, but I can have both the sea and the country  For example near Nice or in Corsica! But I'm not sure I can built a wooden house like this p:

Keilarina 5. March 2008, 23:46

My dreaming house is same as Anne Hathaway's house:o
i love medievel design cottages...

Claude 6. March 2008, 10:17

Ho yes, that's a nice style! I found this picture about:

Thank you Keilarina  Hope your dream comes true

Aadil 6. March 2008, 10:58

Hire a good architect and you can simulate the victorian style using brick..
I've always dreamed of a castle. There's not enough castles in Africa so I'm going to have to build one .
I'll add a drawing later but it's not easy from a mobile :frown:

Keilarina 6. March 2008, 11:20

i can't see the image that You add! i see just red X :frown:

how r You Claude?

Claude 6. March 2008, 13:31

Hello Aadil  Who knows what the futur will be? Good idea!
Which kind of castel please to you?
Like this one:

Or like this one:

Or:

Ect... ???

Claude 6. March 2008, 13:35

Hello Keilarina  I'm fine tank you! And you how are you?
I'm sorry if you can't see the photo. It seems that in Turkish you can't access to all the Web :frown:

Aadil 6. March 2008, 15:57

I like the first one and the second one. It's more like house that's built inside out.
The garden is in the centre and the house is built around it. Double story with a fountain in the centre and balconies with wrought iron railings.
On the ground floor, the doors should be glass sliding doors. The outside walls should be polished granite facia. The garage/carport should be part of the main house.

Claude 6. March 2008, 17:35

All around a fountain! It seems to be very hot in your country  That makes me think about the Alambra. Do you know it?

CheliC 7. March 2008, 00:17

Claude, you have a beautiful idea for a dream house. I hope one day you can move into it. Like you, I would prefer my house to be in the country side. My dream home would also have to have a porch on it so I could sit outside and enjoy the scenery.

Claude 7. March 2008, 10:04

Thanks Night Wolf  Start to visit all castels you can, speak with the owner to know his story, maybe your dream comes true

Claude 7. March 2008, 10:11

Cheli  Thanks for your visit here  So your little summer castel isn't in your dream? Do you like the Louisiana style ?

Angeliki 7. March 2008, 13:52

Your picture it is very much like my country house Claude.
It is a Victorian House. In the frond porch you can display summer furniture and you can practically live in the out doors. The sun bathes the house with sunshine all day long and since the house has 28 windows you never need to have a light on unless it is very dark outside.
I wish you can see it one day!

Do you know that dreams most of the time come true???
I am sure one day yours will came true too!
Did you see my latest entry??
if you plan to use any marble in your dream house you should have a pick!

kisses from New York,
Angeliki

Claude 7. March 2008, 14:42

Waow Angeliki  Do you invite me to visit your beautiful house?   :angel:iki
Don't you have some pictures about your nice house? p:
Thanks for your nice words for my hope :hat:

Angeliki 7. March 2008, 19:48

thks Claude,
yes, it is a dream house.
My beautiful Pennsylvania blog ,does have only pictures of the area. Breath taking as well!
:D
One day you will be having your glass of wine at your Victorian style balcony and you will watch the sunset..I am sure of that.

Claude 7. March 2008, 20:46

:hat: That's great  My kisses to you Angeliki
Where is your Pennsylvania blog? Is it the Ellinidata's one?

Angeliki 7. March 2008, 21:08

yes my French honey,
that's where you can find it.
oh,
Naomi is getting an award tomorrow on her work of promoting Tourism in St Louis.
All her hard work at www.CultureSurfer.com are starting to be recognized!!
Don't forget to kiss your women tomorrow .It is International Womens' Day. :D

CheliC 7. March 2008, 21:38

Thanks for inviting me here. I like my little summer castle but it is a little too big to keep clean. It would be a full time job for me and a big staff to dust and sweep it each day. There would be no time for refreshments.

I love the Louisiana Style house you showed in the picture. I think the big porch is just exactly what I need. There is plenty of room to relax and invite my friends over.

In your first post, you said you are moving this summer. Are you moving far away from where you live now? Moving is never fun but once you get settled you will enjoy your new house.

Claude 8. March 2008, 09:52

Hello dear Angeliki  Your photos's album show us New York and Athens, but where is your Victorian house? :sherlock:
By the way, what do mean those sculptures:

Angeliki 8. March 2008, 15:56

there are people out there that are getting tired by taking care of family members that are not feeling so well, we are the fortunate ones!! Love from NYC!

P.s. As for your success in your own business , thats a given!

Claude 9. March 2008, 19:57
