From The City To The Country

We will be moving from the city to the country. We can hardly wait! I was raised as a city girl, but when I married my first husband for the most part of our marriage we lived in the country, this is when I received my first country lessons. Life in the country is harder than living in the city. You don’t have the conviences that you do in town. And there always seems to be more work to do living in the country. We wont have a wood stove to heat the house, but I would imagine there is one for us in the future. I remember those cold cold days with a wood stove. So cold you could see your breath! Somebody had to stoke the fire and put on new wood!
I don’t know what it is about the country that keeps drawing me back, but that is where my heart is. There is nothing better than sitting on your front porch and listening to the coyotes howling in the distance. Or on a cool crisp morning watching a Doe and her young ones walk across your yard.
I will trade the sounds of the horns honking, sirens blaring and radio’s blasting, for the tree frogs, crickets, and locus’s any day!
So moving day will be soon and I will keep you posted on my new journey. I will be adding photos soon of the new and old house, and just making a photo journal of this exciting time for me.
And since I love photos, I may asking some of you to post photos of your home and why you love it!
Till next time!
