A Drive Today

Beautiful day it was! A great day for a drive to the country and that is just what my Betsie and I did, we drove out to the country so I could show her where I would now be living. That's the hardest part not being just a couple of blocks from my friend. The new house is only thirty minutes away, but we have lived just a few blocks from each other for a few years now. It was nothing to just pop over and have a cup of coffee.
We decided to check out the little town closest to my new place. We found the grocery store that I will be using and of course my favorite, the Dollar Shop. Discovored all kinds of hair salons. Stopped at the visitor center where they gave us a town map and told us what activities the center has to offer which turned out to be pretty interesting.
We then drove five miles out of the little town to my new place that I will be moving to soon. We spent the afternoon drinking coffee and coming up with decorating ideas. First we decorated the inside with ideas and of course the flower beds outside was decorated with ideas.
I think the best part of all was when I discovored an old board swing in the huge pecan tree in the backyard! I had not noticed it before, but there it was just waiting for me! I had been wanting a tree swing for a long time. Of course I had to give the swing a try, after all it had been waiting for me. I knew it was meant to be. You know when you have the feeling everything seems just right. I had that feeling. It just felt right!
We found great little gems about the place that I am anxious to share with my husband.
I had a great day and enjoyed every minute of it!
I will post photos soon of the new place.
