Facts about the country:
Vietnam is located in the Southeast Asian region with a population of over 89 million, Vietnam is the 13th most populous country in the world. It's famous for its beautiful scenery, cultural festivals (such as: ao dai festival, Hung King festival, flower festival...), the anti-aggression war and the friendliness of people. It has its own language, Vietnamese. The best time to visit this country is from January to June, in the dry season.
Places to visit and things to do:
1. Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. It's a busy and modern city on the river called Hong. There is a beautiful lake - Sword Lake - in the centre of city. You can walk around the lake to breathe the fresh air. Besides, Temple of Literature is a great place for traditional Vietnamese literature. You can also go to concerts at Hanoi Opera House or go to Uncle Ho's Mausoleum.
2. The second place you need to visit is Ho Chi Minh City, formerly named Saigon. It's the largest city in Vietnam. It's populated by more than 9 million people. If you get there, you can visit many famous places such as Reunification Palace, Nontre-Dame Cathedral, Ben Thanh market, Hoa Binh theater, The Dam Sen Tourist and Cultural Park,...
3. After visiting Hanoi & HCM city, you should visit Nha Trang. Nha Trang is well-known for its pristine beaches and excellent scuba diving. It is fast becoming a popular destination for international tourists and a good place to go surfing. You can also play many action games in Vinpearl Land, and Long Son Pagoda is prominent for its statue of Gautama Buddha.
4. Hue is the next place you should visit. Hue is well known for its historic monuments, which have earned a place in UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. The seat of the Nguyễn Emperors was in the Citadel, which occupies a large, walled area on the north side of the Perfume River. Along the Perfume River lie other myriad monuments, including the tombs of several emperors such as Minh Mạng, Khải Định, and Tự Đức. Also notable is the Thiên Mụ Pagoda, the largest pagoda in Hue and the official symbol of the city.
