Not much to say

but... I'll try....

Fantasy...

,

His steps tell of mysteries not yet told.
He walks in a way that makes the earth sway.
His legs hold the ground like pillars of gold.
When he moves, the angels start in joyful play.

He speaks of everyday mundane things,
yet my heart moves to the sound of his voice like mesmerised dancers to melodic beats.

His eyes reflect heaven's own lustrious glory,
and when he looks at me the clouds seem to give way to the break of early day.

With his arms around me,
the earth may fall apart and heaven may throw down each and every star.
And still my world would stand as firm as before,
as long as I have his arms around me.

And even if every worldly wonder should fade and every heavenly grace should cease,
His praises will remain through eternity for all to see.

You Finlay finished it  it's a bit different then the first draft, but great non the less
Great job:

You're a poet,
And you know it.
You pick up words,
And move them forwards,
So a rhyme slowly appears
Just like a song, in one's ear's.

Melissa 16. November 2006, 09:32

Hey, I'm glad you like it. Yes, I did change a bit from the original draft.
Thank you for your help...
You're a poet too

Regards,
Melissa

When a girl writes a poem to someone like that. That's when you know where love comes from. And it also states the energy Melissa likes to put in motion, thus...the emotion of passion she feels.

Raghav 11. March 2007, 18:49

Hi Melissa,

Awesome poem. Is it autobiographical i.e. does the poem stem from your feelings for somebody who leads a nomadic lifestyle?

Am curious to know what inspired you to write the story.

Randall 11. March 2007, 19:30

Its me :eyes: I inspired her - back off :ninja:

 (just kiddin')

Melissa 18. March 2007, 07:03

Hey, it is strange that I often write about someone that's never around or close enough...
What can I say?
Other than...
Some things are better left as a mystery
