My Heart Goes To My Friends In China.

A strong earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale has rocked Wenchuan in Sichuan province, some 92km northwest of Chengdu. The earthquake took place at 14:48 Beijing Time and tremors were felt (by our MSN friends) as far as Wuhan, Shanghai and Beijing.

--Details from here.

I was talking on voice chat to my friend that day, she havent told me about the earthquake and all and now I'm wondering now, if she is Ok, sigh. Apparently, I can't establish a contact with my chinese friends at this point, i understand that there must be a nationwide disturbance regarding their internet connections, but i'm not losing hope, I want to hear from them, I'm so worried.

I also heard that it reaches Vietnam too, Oh, i wish my vietnamese friends are ok too.

Yeah, I also felt sad when I heard the news about earthquake in China. Hope they are strong enough to overcome it. Here in Hue, I'm fine. The earthquake only affected Hanoi a little bit. No one was hurt but Hanoi people were a little bit scared, I learnt.

Thanks for your wishes. Hope you have a nice day.

I hope that too dear. Well at least now, my friends already made contact yesterday and am so relieved. They are ok, but another friend of mine told me that her luck really acted on her. She was on a bus that time when the earthquake struck, the driver told them that he is stopping the bus at a curve and guess what? Right after they stop the ground opens up there at the middle portion of the road. Another thing, if she arrived too early to apartment she is staying, she might be a casualty now, because it collapse, 15 minutes after the earthquake.

I really got busy exchanging stories and switching from msn to yahoo yesterday. They have lots of interesting and shocking stories for me yesterday. Just imagine, that the death toll is still rising. Oh my, I hope and I prayed that China could recover soon.
