I dont want to worry you my dear friends. this is not just drama. Truth is, i never enjoyed talking about my health condition and all. Like it was something serious or something. But at least now, its now known, unlike before. We thought it was some sort of epistaxis. Now we know that it is hereditary and can be treated. Though the process of treatment, thats the worst part. I need to monitor my blood every once in a whlie. And have blood transfusion when needed.
My symptoms: nose bleed gum bleed internal bleeding like the stomach(vomitting blood sometimes). chronic headaches muscle pains low resistance to fever, flu and colds. oh, and this one is the worst and ugly, bruising. sometimes they shows up on my face. Its like Ive been battered or mauled, having something similar to blackeye and all.
Its not lethal if treated properly and Im doing my best.
Honey, that stinks, about the condition. Those are horrible symptoms.
Just take care of yourself and do what needs doing. Having to have blood transfusions that often, though----that IS serious. Wish there were something I could do.
My mom had what is called pernicious anemia, which may be the same thing---will have to look it up. Hers was controlled with a B12 shot every week, and periodic blood transfusions (but not as often as you). Her bone marrow quit producing red blood cells.
